I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania as well as a certified school counselor in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. For many years, I worked in private practice, as a school based mental health counselor and guidance counselor. I received a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a Specialization in Child and Adolescent Therapy from Chestnut Hill College and a school counseling certification from the University of Scranton.
I’m committed to actively joining you in the process of self-exploration and work towards your personal or family goals. I use a person-centered approach that incorporates techniques based in the models of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. My practice emphasizes acceptance, empathy and unconditional positive regard for individual belief and perspective. My areas of focus include: mood disorders, anger-management, grief and loss, life transitions and child/adolescent challenges. I work with children and adolescents beginning at the age of 12 as well as adults.
